Part of the beauty of building and owning your own site is being able to improve it over time.
The following is a list of things I'd like to add to this site. The idea being that I'll come back to this page every now and then and tick off the things I've done, as well as document anything interesting on the blog, thereby generating a few articles as I go.
Hoping this might become a bit of a community initiative (a bit like /uses). Add a /todo page to your site, send me a link and I'll list them all below.
Maybe (probably?) this has already been done before and I'm stealing someone's thing. Sorry! Someone please let me know.

- Make this checkbox syntax work (think this is github flavoured markdown)
- favicon
- robots.txt
- sitemap.xml
- 404 page
- humans.txt
- add an rss feed for posts
- Write some articles to put in said RSS feed
- dark/light mode
- dark/light mode toggle!
- search
- code syntax highlighting
- some kind of analytics (not the bad one)
- blog post with an image to work out how to serve images nicely
- a way to show what I've recently logged on Letterboxd/goodreads/other
- a /now page
- table of contents for long blog posts
- custom ::selection styles
- add a "skip to content" link for accessibility
- add links to lots of references across the site that deserve to be linked
- finish the projects/work section
- figure out how to do responsive images properly
- come up with a fun mobile interaction instead of the current hover styles for the logo
- Fix images in the RSS feed (something to do with the RSS/Image Eleventy plugins)
- Replace the home icon with something a little more personal/unique
- Some kind of CMS for posting
- e2e tests to stop me breaking stuff
